Brass Bollocks - Business Building for Therapeutic Practitioners |
When most independent therapists find that they don't get enough clients to make a living, what they do is start to doubt their ability as a therapist and attend more therapy training courses. But it is not necessarily their skill as a therapist that is the reason why they don't have clients, it is likely to be their skills in business and marketing.
"Andy Austin is a true pioneer... having trained with countless supposed ‘experts’ I can quite happily state Andy is one of the greatest minds I have ever had the good fortune to meet and learn from. His depth of understanding of the human mind, psychological conditions, the role of the therapist and the nature of the client is… ASTONISHING! I thoroughly recommend any therapist who is serious about therapy to train with Andy." Michael Christon, internationally licensed NLP trainer and coach With popular TV shows such as Dragon's Den and The Apprentice, being an entrepreneur is more desireable than ever. The only problem is that whilst schools may teach things like trigonometry and the battle of Hastings, what isn't taught so well is practical business stuff and how to be successful. This workshop is not about how to make millions and build a big empire. That isn't my interest, nor is it what I know much about. What most people training as therapists want is to do well. To be clear: this is not a workshop about feelings, nor is it about "the law of attraction", the universe being friendly or about cosmic alignment.
I first trained as a therapist in 1994 whilst I worked full time as a nurse in Accident and Emergency and Cardiothoracic. Today, I travel to many parts of the world to deliver popular training courses, I'm in demand as a guest speaker, have been filmed by the BBC for a documentary program, regularly consult with television production companies and have a lot of clients. Business is very good indeed. Along the way, I have found a very large number of things that simply didn't work, many things that would have worked if only I'd known what I had been doing, and things that worked tremendously well regardless. I'm going to teach you and show you those things and tell you exactly how I did it. I'm also going to show you what you need to do to go that extra step to get your business up and thriving. With group exercises and practical advise and examples, some of the areas covered in this 2 day workshop include:
Bringing with him a clinical background in neurology and neurosciences, Andrew T. Austin will be covering many of the practical aspects of change work so often overlooked by NLP practitioners and trainers, therapists and change workers in the personal development field.
